Costs and Fees
|
 |
Do I need an office to
run my SeekingSitters?
|
 |
No! SeekingSitters is designed to
be a work at home
franchise;
however, depending on
the size of your
location you may choose
to have an outside
office. |
 |
What's my
initial
investment? |
 |
The benefit of a Seeking
Sitters franchise is
that the start-up costs
and ongoing overhead are
very minimal. And by
following our designed
system, you can start
making money right away!
The initial franchise
fee is $25,000 but can
vary based on size and
market potential of the
city or region being
purchased. Your total
estimated startup cost
is between $40,600 -
$68,730 |
 |
What's your
franchise
fee? |
 |
The base fee
is $25,000 -
this can
vary on your
territory's
population.
Please
contact SeekingSitters
for a
specific
cost |
 |
How much do
I pay in
royalties? |
 |
5%
of your
gross sales.
This can be
reduced
through
incentives
we offer our
franchisees. |
 |
How much do I contribute
to Corporate
Advertising? |
 |
Each
franchisee
contributes
1% of gross
receipts to
a Corporate
Advertising
and
Development
Fund.
The
distribution
of this fund
is decided
directly by
the
franchisees
at the
annual
SeekingSitters
convention. |
 |
How do I
estimate my
profit from
owning a
SeekingSitters |
 |
There are
strict
regulations
in the
franchise
industry
that
prohibit a
franchisor
from
claiming how
successful a
franchisee
will be. You
need to
estimate
this
yourself,
but we can
offer some
direction.
We can
provide
demographics
for your
territory
and show you
how
territories
with
comparable
profiles
have
performed.
Our existing
franchisees
can also
elaborate on
expenses and
time
commitment. |
 |
Does SeekingSitters
offer
financing? |
 |
No. But we can recommend
franchise lenders that
provide great rates for
qualified individuals.
One lending
program that
we recommend
is the
Benetrends
program.
This program
allows you
to utilize
your own
401K to
build your
business.
What a
better
investment
for
retirement! |

Choosing
Your
SeekingSitters
Territory |
 |
How are the territories
designated? |
 |
Territories are
designated by area and
population, a minimum of
300,000
people.
Extensive
research has
been
performed to
assure each
territory
meets
certain
population
and economic
factors. SeekingSitters
goal is that
each
territory is
a success
therefore
franchises
are not
officered in
locations
that do not
meet our minimum
requirements. |
 |
Can I own an entire
city? |
 |
Yes. Since territories
are based on area as
well as population, you
can negotiate your area.
You can even start in
one area and if no
competing territories
arise, you can build on
your territory. |
 |
What if
there is
already a
franchise in
my area? |
 |
Larger
markets mean
more
franchise
opportunities
for the
area. We
usually have
multiple
opportunities
in larger
cities and
areas.

Is there
someone to
guide me
through this
process?
|
 |
Absolutely.
You begin
working with
our Sales
Director who
helps you
build or
select your
territory
and provides
you with all
documentation
necessary on
which to
base your
decision to
purchase a
franchise. |
 |
When do I
need to pay
my franchise
fee and
provide a
signed
agreement? |
 |
We require
all fees and
contract 3
weeks prior
to your
training
session.
This gives
us adequate
time to
start
pre-training
or what we
call
"On-Boarding."
|
 |
What if I want to later
sell my SeekingSitters
franchise? |
 |
You may sell your
SeekingSitters
franchise; however, only
individuals approved by
the franchisee will be
allowed to purchase.
Transfer fees,
administrative, legal
and training fees will
apply. |
 |

indiscriminately. Please
